Edgar Ebinum

Mr. Ebinum is a graduate of Project Management Technology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State where he obtained a Second Class Upper Division. He is also an alumnus of Pan Atlantic University where he obtained an Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research. His work experience cuts across different sectors of the Nigerian economy including Oil & Gas, Publishing and Capital Market. He started his career as a Project Planning Officer with DEC Oil & Gas Limited in 2000 after which he moved on to Macmillan Publishers Limited in 2004 as a Business Development Executive where he gained mastery of Customer Need Assessment and Customer Sourcing. In 2006, he joined Diamond Securities Limited as a Business Development Officer. Due to his outstanding performance, he was redeployed to set up the Research Unit in Diamond Securities Limited. Prior to joining Cowry Asset in 2011 as the Head, Investment Research, he worked with PML Securities Company Limited as the Head, Investment Research unit between 2008 and 2011. His outstanding performance at the Pan Atlantic University secured him an internship with GFK Limited, London in 2015. He has attended several development courses/seminars some of which includes. AGILE Project Management (AGILE P3 Limited 2018), Business Outlook (Lagos Business School 2008), Equity/Bond Market Research (Palsea Capital Market Consult 2008), Senior Financial Analyst (Lagos Business School 2007) and Equity Research & Analysis (Alicorn Capital 2006). Mr. Ebinum currently heads the Corporate Finance and Advisory Unit in Cowry Asset Management Limited, a position he assumed since 2017.
