She graduated at the top of her class and earned the distinction of being the third-best overall graduating student in her cohort. With a Master’s Degree in Economics, she has built a successful career spanning over six years in the financial sector, beginning as a financial analyst at a prominent Oil and Gas servicing company. Currently, Folake serves as the Head of Corporate Finance at Cowry Asset Management Limited, where she plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic financial initiatives and corporate finance transactions. 

She has been at the forefront of several high-profile transactions, including raising billions of naira for Fidelity Bank. Additionally, she has led fundraising efforts for several prestigious organizations, such as Wemabod Construction, the Edo State Government, and Vittas Construction. Her strategic acumen and exceptional leadership have been instrumental in structuring and executing complex financial transactions across a diverse range of sectors. Beyond her hands-on experience, Folake has further honed her expertise through specialized training in complex transaction structuring and execution, further solidifying her position as an expert in corporate finance.
